Solar art

The Solar Comic Competition is an activity taking as its objective the participation of professional and amateur artists interested in the conservation of our environment. This activity tries to create graphic material intended to increase the environmental awareness of society, generated by artistic sensitivity.

The comic world, in spite of pressure from the multimedia, remains an accessible format for everybody. In addition, comics have traditionally included subtle messages that every reader can interpret. Comics, sometimes also described as non-moving pictures, open up for us a universe of possibilities for diffusion, especially on the internet. In this connection, the organization of Encuentro Solar wants to share this place of dialogue with all those people who have artistic interests and who are motivated by the environment and the solutions for a more sustainable world.
